Julie blinked at the fact that Domino was right. It was really rare for her to forget such short notice things, but she had a reasonable excuse. "Sorry... I just, well this is sort of new for me, so I'm really out of my element with this sort of.. "outgoing" things," she admitted looking around the new town. "I take it you know the way," she added hoping that Domino was indeed aware of the location considering the fact that Julie did not know squat about this part of the map.

Domino shrugged, "Somewhat," she said indifferently, then gave out a whoot, "God, I love this song!" she said through the sound of thewind hitting their faces. Julie was lucky she had short hair, or her new friend's face would he spattered with her hair. She looked back for a second to Julie, when there were no cars ahead of her and smirked, "Shifty," she explained [Name of band], "Take the other earpiece," she said, looking ahead once more, not wanting to take her hands off of the handlebars. "It's just in my shirt," she explained, arching her back slightly for Julie to get it better. It was strange for her to have befriended a girl so different that herself, but as things were going, she thought Julie was cute in her own way.

Recognizing the ban, Julie reached in to get the ear-piece. Due to the motion of the small vehicle, her fingers brushed countless times before she got the "not-so-out-in-the-surface" headphone. "Sorry about that, but for a minute I thought I was searching for gold..." she joked feeling more at ease with the girl. She seemed really nice and energetic, something that she truly needed in her life. Hopefully, Domino would not get bored or annoyed with her rather bland personality.

Domino chuckled, "Babe, you just touched gold," he said, meaning her chest as she sat normally again. "Anyways, you like 'em?" she asked, as the song, Turning Me On played softly. She leaned forward slightly, and felt the pull of the earpiece, "You'll have to sit more against me, so that doesn't happen," she said as the mall appeared infront of them. A wide grin formed on her lips, "HA! See? I knew I'd find it."

Julie was confused by all of the above, yet simply leaned against Domino for the mere common sense of it. "Wait... if I like your gold?" she asked perplexed and rather shocked at the crude comment.

Domino burst out laughing, and had to pull over in danger of an accident occuring, she turned to face the rather confused girl behind her and grined, "Nah, that. I know you like," she winked, then started the mo-ped again as she entered the parking lot. "I meant the band," she explained as another song from Shifty began to play.

"Oh..." she said feeling embarrased and stupid. There was something about Domino that didn't quite let Julie be herself; such as the carefull and skillfull listener she had always been. Once Domine finally found a spot, parked the mo-ped and turned off the engine, Julie stepped out, as her chest felt the absence of her body and made the cool breeze have more of a chill factor on her.

Domino got off the small motercycle as well and locked it, placing the keys in her large pocket, running a hand through her short boyish hair. She looked to Julie and smiled, shaking her head, "Wasn't that bad was it?" she asked, placing an arm around the girl, "You didn't die.."

Julie didn't mind her mocking affection that was represented on the arm that was comfortably draped over her shoulders. "No, but I still aby to public transportation" she teased sarcastically.

Domino rolled her eyes and chuckled slightly, "Yeah right," she said, taking the extra earpiece and placing it into Julies ear carefully, keeping her arm around the girl's shoulders. "So tell me something, you wanna come here or did your parents make you come?"

Julie didn't really want to get that personal with the girl in such notice. Not that she didn't like her, but she was afraid of a possible rejection. However, the tomboy asked plainly making Julie secure that she was on safe grounds. "Um, a little bit of both I guess. Troy High is one of the best private schools the country can offerer, and I wanted to come here to excel with my studies. My parents not only agreed with that, but they mainly pushed my limits so I could have an opportunity to socialize." she explained, "as you can see, my conversations skill are not exactly outgoing when it comes to strangers, and my parents wanted me to change that." It slightly pained Julie that her parents wanted to change something she was actually content with. She wasn't born to be a leader, nor did she want to be one; Julie merely wanted to be a trustful right hand.

Domino took back her arm and shrugged, lifting the sleeve of her shirt to show the tatoo on her arm, "My parents tell me to be the exact oposite," she smirked, and placed the sleeve down again, then opened the door for Julie as they walked into the mall that was relatively filled with students and other people that lived nearby. "But I tend to go against their precious wishes. I came here to get away from them. It's tiereing to have parents who want to control you, ya know?" she said, giving her a grin. They walked close to eachother due to the length of the earpiece wire, and thus, their hands often brushed as Domino looked to the shops absentmindedly.

"Yeah, I know" she said as their attention diverted toward the creative store windows. About five minutes later, Julie apologized continuously due to their personal and accidental "touching."She then gave up as she noticed that such attempts were useless with Domino; however their hands never stopped brushing.

Domino was lost in her own world, of movie scrips and stories as she listened to the soft tunes that played in her head, forming perfect images of two people, sometimes in love, others in hatred, and even both. Her eyes were half glazed over as they passed through the store fronts, not really seeing what was infront of her, or what was happening beside her, it was only a few minutes after that she came into realization as Julie gave up trying to apologize for something or other. She motioned her head to an ice-cream shop that sat perfectly beside a starbucks, "You like coffee?" she looked down to her, "Heck, if you don't we could split a banana split," at that a smirk crossed her expression, "Not that I like splitting my bananas.. when I have one that is. But for you," she winked, "I'll make an exeption."
