Rex looked at the number tags at the side of the many doorways, stopping at the one entitled '19.' He pulled a shining key out of his back pocket, bending his knees to shove it into the handle. He thrust open the door, taking a step in and dropping his stuff on the floor. He turned a complete circle, taking in everything. He approached the single window, looking left and right to see that he had a wonderful view of a large cement wall. "Oh...great..." He shoved aside the negative thoughts that rushed to his head, pushing them to the back of his mind. "Not bad," he remarked alloud, turning to Yukinaya to see her expression. "A little plain, but nothing a few posters and some speakers can't fix."
[I'm gonna go and watch a movie, but I'll reply to your future thread sometime tomorrow. ^_^]

"At least you have class. I'd love to switch my view with yours." she melted in sarcastically, going over to the window and looking at the white washed wall across. It reminded her alot of home. Though she was fortunate enough to not even have a window at the time. The old memory caused her to lightly giggle to herself.
Yuki turned around, deciding to lean on the window sill, and gave the room its much needed once over.
"I guess all the dorms basically start off the same." she told him, thinking back to her room as well.

Rex tilted his head inquiringly as she laughed quietly to herself, not bothering to ask what was so amusing. "Yeah," he agreed simply to her statement. He turned and picked up his brown bag, placing it on the bed and opening it. He took out an iPod, one of the original models, a brown wooden box, and a few other choice items. He soon switched it with the ebony one and began to empty it. At least seven posters came out, along with clothes and a large digital camera. Once both bags were vacated, he took a seat on one of the desks, putting his plaid Vans on the occompanying chair. He leaned over, his toned arms placed on his knees to hold his weight. "So, what hobbies are you interested in?" he asked, starting a new conversation. His head turned as he watched Yukinaya, keeping a steady gaze.

"Well..." she started, moving over to the vacant bed next to his, and deciding against her better judgment to plop down on it rather sloppily. Yuki seemed quite comfortable, even being alone in room with someone she had just met. And that was a rare occasion on its own.
"I love books, music, anime, drawing, etc. I'm into japanese culture, and I love animals." Yuki said quite simply, once again removing her jacket and leaving it to its own accord on the other side of the bed. Her gaze wandered around the room and landed on his scant amount of spread out posters. Her curiosity condemned her to go over to them and look through the pile. She recognized some of them, and hadn't seen others.
"Its seems like I'm not the only one who carries these around huh?" She inquired, looking up at him with a smirk on her face.

"Hm.." he grunted as she listed off her interests. He felt comfortable around his new 'friend,' as he was with most everyone; it didn't feel awkward for him to be alone with a teen of the opposite sex. He grinned sheepishly; they had a lot in common. He stood and walked up beside Yukinaya, pointing to a poster of The Classic Crime, "Have you heard them? They're amazing." Though the lighting was poor, his face glowed with natural humor and fervor, freckles littered across his nose and cheeks. He motioned to the stack of papers with his arm. "Of course I forgot to bring tacs..."

"I haven't heard of them at all. Can you play me something from them?" she asked curiously, picking up some of the posters on the ground, and putting them on the unvacated bed, and spreading them out. Each of them had their own little mood around them as well. The posters were somewhat similar to hers as well. But her posters were of Japanese bands, and overseas entertainers. They were both so different and so alike at the same time.
"I have some tacks in my room. Would you like me to get some for you?" Yuki asked him, turning to see his response.

"Thanks, but we can do that later. If it's alright with you, I'd like to check up and see if my cousin is around. I'm not supposed to be here 'til later tonight, so I was hoping on surprising her." Rex shrugged, giving her a half smile as he waited for her response. "Oh yeah! No, I can't play any of their stuff now, but I have some of their music on my iPod." He looked down at his feet; they were placed awkwardly facing inwards, a position he had become accustomed to. Bad habits die hard.

Yuki followed his gaze down and chuckled at his awkwardly positioned feet. They bought back a faint memory of something that she could have swore she saw on TV somewhere when she was little. She mentally waved off the somewhat flashback and tried to keep her focus on him.
"That's right, you kept talking about your cousin before. Who is she?" the dark haired girl asked curiously, motioning back to the obviously comfortable bed.

"Her name's Dominique. She's a sophomore; second year around, so I hear. She told me her dorm number, but I can't remember it..." he closed his eyes in concentration, but nothing came. "Nah. Don't remember." He stood, and walked to the door, his hand on the handle. "So, you okay with dropping by real quick? We could hang around campus afterwards." He stopped, his torso turned in hre direction, waiting for her reaction.

"Sure." she finally answered after breaking a probably valuable brain cell in the thought process.
"Its sounds like a plan. But can we get there without the whole student body in our way." she admitted rather childishly. Her social phobia was something that was hard to explain, and she herself could honestly not take the time to break it down.

Rex smiled, "Sure. Whatever your majesty requests." He gave a mock bow and with a twist of his wrist, opened the sturdy wooden door. He paused and held it for Yukinaya, and closed it firmly once she exited. He led the way down the hall, some other kids clearing his way, while others blocking it. He soon started down the stairway, smirking at the ghetto-looking cement walls. He stared intently at every passing student, scrutinizing each in turn. I guess I could get used to this... the thought echoed through his mind.
[Hey, I'm gonna post in Dominique's dorm. I'll meet yah there.]
To: Room #7 in the Sophomore Dorms.
