In the attempt to jog in all of her luggage, Julie almost went flying through the dorm, as the bags penetrated swiftly through the average door-frame. She delicately stood up and cutely brushed the dust off her salmon colored shorts. She then stepped back to observe the dull and plain room. 'A drawing or two wouldn't look bad' she thought to herself, as she decided to accommodate her clothes and things in the right side of the room. It was really exiting to finally be part of Troy High school. It would be a whole different environment to learn from and observe with the passing days.

Domino sighed as she made her way through the tight hallway, carrying two large black trash bags that held all of her belongings. Her family had recently sent all of their luggage with her eldest brother to college, and she was left with nothing but the black bags she was lugging around. When Domino finally reached her room she dropped the bags, lifted her large sunglasses and peered into the room, realizing she wasn't the first one there. Slowly, she placed her glasses in her back pocket and picked up the clothes once again, hauling them into the room and tossing them to the bed on the left, noticing the small framed girl was to the right of the room. When she did so, they made a loud crashing sound as some of her pictured banged against eachother. Cringing slightly, but with a smile, she turned to the other girl, realizing she was about as tall as she was, and pretty to top. Her smile widened,"Hey wassup?" she said in a casual voice.

Julie blinked, baffled by the sudden and noisy intrusion. In a way to simply say it, the new girl was ... strange. However, Julie had learned not to judge a book by it's cover; after all she was a fine example herself. "Hi," she said timidly and not maintaining much eye contact.

Domino streached and rotated her shoulders, tiered from having dragged all of the lugage up by herself, she then shrugged it off and took a few steps closer to the girl, holding out her hand, "Domino," she said with a smirk, "What's your name?"

"I, uh, I'm Julie" she said making it a while until she shook the girl's hand. So this meant they would be roommates? 'Well then, as long as she doesn't start any parties of any sort' she skeptically thought to herself, taking a closer look at Domino. The girl was pretty and had a certain spunk in her appearance; one that Julie did not seem to mind.

Domino retracted her hand, and looked around the room, "This is pretty dull," she thought outloud, turning back to her side of the room. She frowned as her eyes met the messy bags, which would most probably have her clothes all jumbled together as oposed to the neat stack her mother had put them in. She stole a glance back to Julie and noticed her luggage was neat and proper, the whole aura of the girl seemed that way. Very much different than her own. Domino had a way of being out there and wild, something she didn't see in this girl. Turning back to her clothes, she took the bags, opened one of the drawers that were available to her and dumped the bag into it, not caring, for now, how her clothes fell. After doing the same for all of the six drawers she streached again and tossed herself onto the matress, spreading her arms and legs, then realized how quiet everything was. Frowning she looked back up to the girl, "You don't talk much do you?" she asked, still frowning.

It was hard for Julie to take her eyes off the terrorizing drawers that overflowed with clothes, and would not properly close. Reluctantly, she gazed back at the strange and messy girl responding softly, "I'm afraid not." Her tone seemed apologetic, as if in fact, Julie had done something bad.

Domino laughed and sat up, looking to her roommate with curious eyes, she'd never before met someone quite as timid as Julie, who hardly even looked into her eyes. Domino was used to outspoken people like she was, but something about Julie was welcoming, perhaps it was the tone of her voice of the way she looked at her. "Ah that's alright," she said, sticking her hand in her pocket and taking out a beaten up iPod, "That's what these are for right?" she said with a smirk. Then stood and looked out the window at the perfectly sunny day, with barely a few clouds in the sky, sighing, she looked back to Julie who seemed to be almost out of place in the empty room, which didn't quite make sence to her. Domino stole one last look to the window, then turned to Julie and grabbed her wrist, "Come on," she said with a glint in her eyes, "It's too perfect a day to be staying in here, we can get settled in anytime. Let's go out and meet some of the other freshman," she offered, hoping she wouldn't scare the girl away by her sudden movements.

Julie almost yelped at the new girl's outburst. It wasn't really of Julie to be in loud and noisy environments, and knowing that that this rowdy teen, Domino, would be her roommante... Julie brushed the disturbing thought aside and decided to a little more understanding. "Uh, uh Domino, wait... we.. have to lock the room so our luggage and things don't get stolen," she pleaded as she got dragged. It was amazing how much strength this little firework had...

Domino paused, sighed and let go of the small framed girl, thinking that Julie was probably right, their stuff would be safer if the door was locked, but taking into acount that she didn't really have anything that was worth stealing, she hadn't thought of it. Looking around she frowned, "They told us where to find it, you remember where it was?" she asked, leaving the doorway and scouraging through the overstuffed drawers. Then, as if she'd been shocked, she jumped back with a laugh, "That's right," she said suddenly, sticking her hand in her shirt and pulling a small key out of her bra. Her eyes snapped back to Julie and she smirked, a glint in her eyes that showed her exitement, "Ready?"

"Yeah...just make sure you close it properly" she said still not getting around the idea of carrying a key in your bra. For some reason, Julie found it hard to not have the urge to talk to her. It was as if in that moment, a major glacier had melted, allowing Julie to see a big grassy field full of wonderful things.

Domino rolled her eyes, "You worry too much, don't worry, Jul," she said, already warming up to the shy girl as she locked the door and pushed her down the hall. It wasn't normal for her to be friends with people like this, she was usually acustomed to louder people that tended to be as bold as she was. As they passed a few people, Domino waved with a smirk to each of them, getting either a scared look, or a smirk back from those that found her amusing. Shrugging, she continued down the hall confertably, stealing glances behind her once in a while to make sure Julie was indeed following her. It wasn't until she had gotten half way down the hall that she halted suddenly, and cringed, waiting for the impact of the girl behind her against her back.

It was too late before Julie realized that Domino had stopped cold. Her body crushed against Domino as she stumbled back catching her balance in time. "You know... a warning would be nice.." she said rubbing her nose.

Domino turned with a lopsided grin and shrugged, "I forgot my iPod, sorries," she said with a smile, running back to the dorm to get her device, returning a few seconds later with one of the earpieces on, and the other tucked in her shirt. She smirked to Julie and motioned towards the exit, "Wanna go to the mall?" she asked but had already began walking again.

Snapping out of her quizzical glare, Julie caught up with her. "Sure," was all she could actually say. She knew by now that Domino would not waste time to stop and listen to her shy excuses. "So, um, what are you listening to?" she asked feeling stupid for trying to start conversation.

Domino looked back and offered the shy girl a wide grin, happy that she was poking her head out of her shell for once. "Ever heard of Cheap Trick?" she asked as they made their way out of the dorm building. Domino lifted up a pair of keys to a moped that was parked not far off, she smirked, "Come on, we're goin' in style babe." She placed a leg over the small motercycle and turned it on, holding it up steady enough for Julie to sit safely.

"Yes, I have heard of the band. They have a couple of songs that I like." she said as her stare reached the small motorcycle. Julie looked at the whole scene for a minute, doubting whether to get on or not. In all honesty, she wasn't either dependable or trustworthy on people, especially strangers. Looking at the tomboy that widely grinned and urged her to get on, Julie decided to comply and go along with the whole thing. She swung her long leg over as she sat on the left over space, which was really scarce. Pushing her body against Domino's, Julie wanted to feel more secure on the doubtful piece of machinery. "So, um... were are we going?" she asked wrapping her arms around the girls stomach.

Domino smirked as Julie got on and wrapped her arms securly around her, it felt strangely comforting some how, having this girl place all of her trust on some one she bearly knew. For some reason the hair on the back of Domino's hair stood on end, but she shrugged it off and turned the top half of her body, finding her self face to face with her new friend. She could almost feel Julies breath against her, but it didn't bother her in the least, and she offered the shy girl a smug smile, "You forget easily, huh? Mall remember?" she said, then tapped the girl's head slightly, before turning around and revving the engine. After a quick scan of their surroundings, Domino took off in the general direction of the in school mall.
